Metropolitan park “Antonis Tritsis”

On Tuesday the 25th February our 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders visited the park of environmental awareness “Antonis Tristis”.                             The park “Antonis Tritsis” is a public public park and is considered to be one of the largest parks in Greece.   The students attended an educational program and a guided tour and they after had the chance to create nests of their own.

The School of Intercultural Education  will participate for first year in the Innovative Educational Program  “I care and I act” that is approved by the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs (F13.1 / 163 822 / D2 / 04.10.2016). April 6th, 2016 International Day for Sport for Peace and Development

Our school celebrated the International Day for Sport for Peace and Development with an event titled: PLAYING WITH THE OTHER. PHYSICAL EDUCATION FOR RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY AND RECONCILIATION. Our 5th grade students met with Greek native students of the same age of the 16th Elementary school of Nea Ionia. The main aim of the event was to facilitate interethnic contact and social cohesion by engaging students in common physical tasks and cooperative games.
